The role: Reporting to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for producing rigorous and detailed estimates based on plans, specifications, and tender documents. You'll be involved both upstream, taking measurements, preparing bids, and participating in pre-project solution meetings, and throughout project execution, working closely with Project Managers to keep estimates up to date, draft change notices, analyze subcontractor bids, and support order and delivery coordination. Your expertise in carpentry, cabinetmaking, and high-end residential construction will enable you to accurately assess large-scale projects while demonstrating sound judgment and agility.

Profile and conditions: We're looking for a professional with training in estimation, construction engineering, or project management (AVS, DVS, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimation or project management within the high-end residential or architectural millwork sector. Excellent plan-reading skills, proficiency in Excel, Teams, and Maestro, along with strong attention to detail and priority management, are essential. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with 4 weeks of vacation (per the CCQ schedule), 4 sick days per year, group insurance coverage after 3 months, and a salary to be discussed based on experience.
